Law of Triviality, a very short thought

The Law of Triviality states that time a group spends discussing an issue is in inverse proportion to its consequence. For instance, a group might spend most of its meeting time deciding if they should have a summer party, and the last ten minutes throw together their annual service project involving most of their budget money. Funny, but true. Have you seen this in action?
