(From my original Blogspot)

Dear God, In my bounties In my comforts I see thy face And feelings flow with gratitude For my bounties For my comforts. I praise thy name For thy generous goodness.

I pause to ask this: In poverty In despair I know you are always there. I know because I am told so And I know because in my times of want I have seen you there.

I pray for this: Not knowing what lies ahead Not knowing the entire weakness of my character Dear God please help me to always have the same gratitude that I have now...

even then.
