These quotes by Joseph Smith shown above tell of the importance of gaining knowledge. I list them because I can't say it any better than Joseph Smith did. Nothing makes me happier than reading and studying to learn and grow. I love to read every kind of good book that enlightens the mind and spirit. My difficulties come when I resent the requirements of the physical world that prevent long periods of study. But I suppose these labors, in and of themselves, are studies: long term studies in patience and the ways of life and people.
